Cutting stainless steel wire

Learned colleagues,

I have a shark mesh bracelet that I've recently acquired and it's a bit long for me. I need to shorten it and I understand the procedure for doing so. However, I will need to cut individual lengths of stainless steel wire that make up the mesh links. Any suggestions on the best tool for the job?

Thanks oldhippy, I appreciate the suggestion but letting me loose with a power tool that cuts is a questionable decision on someone's part. I found that any wire cutters will do the job as long as the tips have been hardened. I used a pair of 4 inch end cutters and they worked just fine. I was altering a shark mesh bracelet to fit. It is the type without removable links so it truly is a process of measure twice, cut once. The task was successful so, I'm onto the next project.
