Sizing Watch Mainsprings

Recommended Posts

Just a point on the micrometer.  It is good engineering practice to NOT fully close the calipers but to leave a small gap.  This allows for temp changes and expansion of the anvils, which if left fully closed could distort them or damage the body screw-threads. Otherwise a very informative and clearly expressed video.

Good tip and thanks. I’m an electrical engineer so would not have thought of that:)
