By way of introduction....

Hi all,

I'm a fan of wrist watches and have been since being presented with  a Longines 5-Star Admiral for graduation. It was entirely too 'delicate' a mechanism for a rowdy teen. It's been replaced many times over with various and sundry mechanical and quartz watches. I have a very modest assortment of daily wearers that range from an authentic Seiko 7S26-0020 diver to a Pulsar Flymaster quartz. I used to do minor maintenance on my watches but not now. As I've aged, the old eye/hand coordination hasn't fared well. Now I will change a drop in battery but not much else. I enjoy reading about watch repair though so I hope to contribute as well as lurk. Thanks for the opportunity to hang out with you.
