Tissot V8 battery replacement

Yes, I should know the answer to this: I'm unsure how to properly remove the back of this watch.  I assume it's a pressed-on back, but I've tried to pry it off a couple of times and have only resulted in scratching the back.  I've looked around online and have found nothing.  Thanks for any input!

It does not screw down , and since it has a sapphire crystal I seriously doubt It comes out thru the front. looks like a very tight snap on back to me. A real Pain.. razor blade perhaps or utility knife, some one on this forum has a specialized tool for this perhaps they will chime in.

it would be worth the time to take it to watchmaker and ask "remove the back please".   if you do get it off,  it will be hard to get back on.  on the cheaper watches (pocket watches also)  it might be a factory miss match.  you can enlarge I.D. with a dremel grinder.  let us know what happens.   good luck.   vin

Get off with a watchmakers knife, Amazon 10 bucks. Getting back on may require a watchmaker. I have a watch back press. The trick is to press in the inside of the back cover to slightly reduce the diameter of the back and then you press it on with a proper press.d7d1fae412882eb328cc0ff0efb2271b.jpg
