Disassembly and Cleaning of Lathe

Its good practice to make sure all of your tools are in tiptop shape. Getting rid of dirt and bits of metal from your lathe will also make sure it is running true, providing it is all put back correctly.

You are so correct. Plus it’s actually fun. The disassembly of this lathe was rather unique as the Headstock was bolted on from the bottom and the sleeves for the spindle were held in place with Allen screws. The Lathe is a USA LAMPERT. Could not find anything about this company???
