  1. I've looked on the site for information for the distinctions between these two movements. They;re both ST36, one is further delineated as P29. For the life of me, I'm unable to find the alphanumeric name of the other one. Apologies if this is somewhere on the site, I've looked and haven't found it. Anyone know their names? Answering my own question here, please correct me if I'm wrong. The movement that Mark uses for the tutorials is ST3620 6498 The other movement is ST3620 6497 When buying a movement to follow Mark's tutorials, I'd bought ST3620 6497, I was befuddled a bit however I got through it.
  2. Hi everyone! I bought an Aeromatic 1912 A1308 watch (have not received it yet) and I was wondering what caliber does it use. By chance I found the attached pictures, I believe it's the same caliber but I found no information on it, only that it may be a Seagull. Can somebody help? Thank you!!
  3. I've been looking for a forum like this for a while. My Minorva Tourbillon watch has a hand that fell off. Now this is not the time or place to discuss the ups and downs of of purchasing an inexpensive tourbillon watch. However I do like to watch and love to have it back in my wrist. Issue is I cannot get the movement out. I opened the back and was unable to remove the movement from there then I was advised to try to get the moving out from the front but I'm having real problems getting the front bezel and Crystal off. I've attached some pictures they're not the greatest, I'll upload some better ones if needed but any help would be appreciated here. Thanks in advance. I thought about forcing the crystal out with air pressure, because all I need to do is just access the front of the dial. However then I realized it if I pressure the front crystal out the back display case will probably pop out first.
  4. I just got a new Chinese movement (TY2867), and when I push the winder in, the movement won't start. I've manually wind it a few times, pull the winder out and push it back in. What could be the issue? Thanks
  5. I am struggling to find a way to remove the movement on this large Ingersoll watch from its case. Cannot seem to find any screws that pin the movement to the case. Tried to remove the steel spacer, it is un-movable even with pliers. Does it mean that that I have to come from the glass? If through the glass, do I pry on the small opening on the bezel (see the second picture attached)? Appreciate any helps. Thanks.
