Hello
Movement = Seagull ST19
I have an issue with the return hammer and the sliding gear. I’ve included a picture and I have a video that I hope will illustrate the issue. How can I post the video? When I press the flyback leaver, the return hammer does travel the full distance to the chronograph and the minute runner wheels. Rather it seems to get fouled on the post of the sliding gear. I believe the sliding gear has been adjust correctly, via to setting screw, so the finger of the chronograph runner wheel rotates the sliding gear. All contact points have been oiled with the correct oil / grease. You’ll see in the picture (and possible video) how I can manually move the return hammer so into meets the hard cams of the chronograph and the minute runner wheels. I’ve looked at the return hammer from various angles (under magnification) and can’t see it fouling on any other parts other than the sliding gear post. Is the return hammer spring defective? How can I resolve this? Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided.
