  1. Hi This is my first post in this forum. This forum is for me "godsend". I have had an interest in watches since early 2013 when I bought an Omega 30T2 from 1945. As the watchmaker where I bought the wristwatch shown me the movement I was quite impressed. The technique, wow that you can produce these small mechanical wonders … After some time, my interest was now in the Vulcain Cricket, this movement and its histore did that it was the fire that really caught my interest. In the beginning of 2013 I took a week on the Danish watchmaker school to try the watchmaking profession. After these 5 days I was determined that I, despite the age of 50 soon would train as a watchmaker. Unfortunately I could not fine a solution to getting in learning when I founded the home just before the financial crisis and therefore will not withstand the low pay as a learning relationship will bring. However, I have now decided that I must study on my own and in that way get more and more skills. I just signed up for an online course http://learnwatchmaking.com which is quite fine and are gathering tool to get properly started. I found this forum when I googled for Elma Super Elite and SSteel has a very fine tread on such a machine ... .. I am looking to use this forum! PS: Google translate is often my friend .... hope you will bear with it ...
