  1. Hello, I'm new to the forum. Please help if you have experience removing a stuck/tight watch movement. I am trying to get to the dial to be able to repaint it. I took the caseback off, however as you can see in the picture the movement is quite far down in the case. I tried to pry it out with a screwdriver with no success. I tried to remove the bezel my prying it off, again no luck. I tried removing the screws on the side of the bezel in either direction they just spin and don't loosen or tighten. I even tried blowing out the crystal, although with a weak 10ml syringe. It did build up some pressure, it just seems like the space between the movement and crystal is too far and tightness of the movement will make it hard to do. I tried to message the company directly, no reply yet several days later. Please advise on any ways to dissemble the watch to get to the dial.
  2. Hi, I have a vostok with a 2414 winding movement. Don't know much about watch repairs but was trying to change the dial to a different one. When I wound the watch up nothing happened I.e. no movement. But something odd started to happen and I put the seconds hand back on. The watch unwinds very fast with the second hand whizzing round. See video with just the seconds hand on the movement. Can anyone advise what could have gone wrong and how I fix it? Appreciate any feedback and apologies as I have limited knowledge of watches and just attempted to change the dial! Nav 20180519_105119.mp4
