  1. I have been on the hunt for a vintage titoni airmaster for a while now and I have my eye on one but I am questioning whether or not it is a Franken watch. My main concerns are the spacing on the dial is too large-it appears that the movement may be loose in the case. Secondly, the caseback does not appear to be a Titoni caseback. Is this a "unknown" reference or is this a fake/franken watch? I need to know pretty soon a I am the current highest bidder and I may cancel my bid. eBay link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/402565751132
  2. So I ran out of work a little early today and was browsing around the watch listings on eBay. I found this gorgeous little Rolex Bubbleback 3130. He was a career Navy man who graduated from the Naval Academy in 1921 and won the Navy Cross (the second-highest military honor in the United States). He retired with the rank of Rear Admiral. As noted in the inscription, he was the last commander of the USS Monocacy (PG-20). Now if only I could afford the watch...
  3. I am still making up my tools, and since I have been cleaning my watches by hand until now, I was looking on eBay for a watchcleaning machine that would make it easier and faster for me to accomplish the job. I came across this: My question is: is it any good? It is said to be fully working, but I have no idea if all pieces are there. Any comment from you experts would be very much wellcome.
  4. I purchased this off eBay and it came all the way from Oz. So it's completely jammed up. A little rust found so far but the wheels are jammed solid. Hopefully no bent teeth. It's a Landeron149 and i'm looking forward to getting this baby working.
