  1. Hey Gang, The turning ceramic Bezel from my tag heuer Aquaracer calibre 5 has come off. Could anyone advise what I would be looking at for a price wise for a replacement Bezel? Just want to get a feel before I take it in to the shop. Before and after photos below. Thanks, Tom
  2. i was given a seiko 6309-8840 by a friend who had a problem with the crystal /gasket/bezel.i will have no problem with the crystal but the bezel does not seem to want to screw back in!any ideas please?thanks,B.
  3. Anyone know a supplier that would have orient watch parts. In general orient doesn’t supply parts I guess and it’s been hard to find on eBay. I have an EM60 repair. The crystal was damaged and whatever damaged it burned through and burnt the inner bezel and I cannot find a bezel with the same markings. Any help would be awesome.
  4. Hey guys, my name is Lorenz. I am an 18 year old electrical engineering student from Germany. I got this Breitling chronospace a56012.1 from my granddad and I want to repair it. Besides a slight clicking noise while turning the crown ( someone please let me know if this is normal ) it works just fine. My main problem is that the black color on the Bezel is worn out on some positions and I dont know where to find a paint that holds on the metal nor do I know how to paint it again. I have worked with watches already, I disassembled a mechanical movement cleaned and oiled it
  5. Hi all. A friend recently bought a Tudor Black Bay ref 79220. He came to me last night with a problem. The rotating bezel had fallen off. Looking at the watch, I believe the issue is the nylon bezel retainer - it appears worn. I'm pretty confident I can find a generic replacement for that. What I'm not sure about is the springs that were also present. There are 4 holes in the watch case under the bezel at approx 1, 5, 7 and 11 o'clock. The one at 1 o'clock contains a compression spring with the ratchet click unit on top. The 5 and 7 o'clock holes simply contain a compression spring (one of whi
  6. Well this isn't really a walkthrough because I'm learning on the fly but I felt it was worthy of sharing as the story will probably return some good advice. A bit over a year ago I picked up a Breitling Navitimer movement complete with crown, dial and slide rule. There were a few parts missing and a couple of broken pieces but I corrected those issues in short order and stored the movement away for that day when a case would come available. A few months later just such a case came up on eBay and I picked it up for a fair price even though the bezel was missing. The case has
  7. I just bought a Tag Heuer Kirium 1112 and the bezel is extremely hard to turn. Any suggestions?
  8. Hello- I own the watch described in the subject. When changing the band recently, the bezel popped off. I was able to press it back on, albiet it took a little bit of effort. I plan on taking it to a watchmaker for repair, I just wanted to understand what would/could have caused this to happen and what parts would be needed to repair this. The bezel rotates in order to do calculations for aviation. Pictured is a photo of the watch I have ( not mine, but identical model, poor band color choice). Best Samson
  9. I have an old Ollech & Wajs Kartago diver, (similar to the M4) from around yr 2000. I am trying to rejuvenate the piece but the bezel clicks are missing from the case. I am not even sure how they worked. All I am left with is the case with 1 small hole located under the bezel ring that is about 1mm diameter and about 1.6mm in depth. I am guessing there was a ball bearing and a small spring that pushed against the underside of the bezel. Does anyone have any familiarity with this particular watch, or in lieu of that, this type of bezel ratchet. I don't dive, so I could just re-install
