I am working on a Swiss Army watch and the wave type bezel spring is rusted away (see below) - looks like the previous owner glued the bezel in place, but I would like to try to get it working again. I have had a look online without success as the only options seem to be to TAGs or Rolex, at Tag and Rolex prices. Does anyone know where I can get generic ones, or is the best option to make my own? Here is the type I need, also not sure now many sides the original had, there are 5 left, but most I have seen online (Tag etc have 8 ) - any ideas? Here is what's left of the one what was in the watch: I did find this online.... worth a try???
Hi, I have a watch that needs a new click bezel ring and bezel wire insert. Here is a link to the watch, and here is a link to a picture of the standard case type used by the manufacturer: http://www.balihaiproject.com/watches/q.html http://forums.watchuseek.com/f74/bali-hai-project-166322-4.html I didn't see anything in terms of service about linking to another forum so hopefully this post is OK. The link goes to a photo of the stock case pre production. The movement is a Ronda 715Li if that helps. Checking the click ring on a cheap micrometer, the OD is 39mm and the ID is 36.6mm. As for the bezel wire I'm not sure how it's measured. Maybe it's one of a kind and there are no parts available but looking at the picture, it seems like a stock case. Thanks everyone. I do appreciate the assist!
