Hi everyone, I've been working on this Poljot alarm watch and have run into some issues with low amplitude I'm having trouble diagnosing. Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated! Originally this movement was non running and I discovered that it was magnetized. Once I had disassembled and serviced it, the movement functioned fine with good amplitude. However, I left it alone for a couple weeks and found it was no longer running once I returned. I've demagnetized it since but haven't had any luck restoring the original functionality. Any ideas on what could be causing this drop in performance? Thanks in advance!

I have a Junghans J36 alarm pocket watch with a gun metal case. I'm in the process of restoring it. I need technical information on its proper disassembly/assembly. Right now all I can find is sales catalog information (from the NAWCC). Ranfft also has a couple of bits. Anybody know how to take these apart safely? I'm a little hesitant to tear into it. I also need some info on dial restoration i.e., who might be able to restore the dial. Thanks!

I recently found a Casio AQ-222 in a collection of watches I bought. After installing a new battery the watch works great, the only issue is that the alarm doesnt sound, the icon simply flashes on the screen when the alarm should sound. I've tried the AC reset a few times without results. When I initially opened the watch there was no battery or spring connecting the piezo on the back case, I'm not sure whether this model actually should have a caseback spring in it or not, and if so where it would connect on the movement. If the spring is required is there anywhere to source this part (or piezo)? Just for my own info, I also wonder the best way to test the piezo itself (I have a multimeter if that helps).
