  1. Queensland based these days. Back when I was a young lad I was always fascinated when Dad screwed his lupe to his eye & cleaned movements in lighter fluid. Well I never managed to develop those "skills", but I have managed to do basic stuff on mainly quartz movements, my preferred option since my hands are not as steady as Dads, eyes not as goof either. This last day or two I have struggled to get my wifes Seiko going again after a battery change. Watch Model: "Professional Divers 200m" Movement: 2A22A - 0290 [Z3] (2 jewels), marked as Seiko, battery is SR621SW Date of manufacture: circa 1986 This watch holds sentimental value to my wife & is in rather sound condition, no scratches, bezel near perfect, apart from one strap replacement & batteries , never a moments problem until now. Question: Should I try to have the movement "kick started" or simply replace the movement? If the latter, what is the equivalent movement I should seek, I can find nowhere any reference to the 2A22 Rgds to all, Peter O
