  1. I see, but regardless I need to replace the crown, so if I can't get an original from Invicta what do I do?
  2. So I just go look up an Invicta store near me and go there? Also, I'm pretty sure it's the crown. When I unthread it I dont even feel the pop, I have to manually pull it out more.

  4. Invicta doesn't like to give out parts and this is my project watch. I bought it so I could work on it. Would just buying a bunch of threaded crowns on ebay and hope one of them fits work? I honestly just want to know how to fix this. I've never dealt with threaded, only the standard push and pull.
  5. But how do I make sure the crown I buy will fit the original threading of the tube?
  6. Hello, I discussed an Invicta watch with an NH35A movement a little while back. Upon doing my research it seems I need to replace the stem and crown, or at least the crown. Again, from my research it says I need to drill out the old threaded tube and replace the threaded tube with a new one that matches the new crown in question. My first question is how do I measure for the tube, I for the most part know how to measure for a crown, but I know there is a case side (the part that fits into the case) and an outside (the portion with the threading) diameter. Is just measuring the outside diameter sufficient in finding a suitable replacement and if not how do I measure the inside diameter because it seems it's in the case itself. Furthermore, do I use a drill bit that is the same size as the tube or do I use one that's slightly smaller? Second question is what drill and bits do you suggest getting preferably a set and what other tools will I need? If you guys could link me to them that would be wonderful. Lastly, will replacing the stem, crown and tube fix my problem of the stem and crown flipping the date as I'm unthreading it, details to the problem are in my original post. Sorry for such a long post, but help would be highly appreciated. -Josh
  7. Hello, my name is Joshua, I live in the United States and went to school at AWCI I know a decent amount, but alas I've not been in the game for sometime and have forgotten quite a bit. Hence why I am here! I'd love to make some watchmaking friends!
  8. Hey, so I have a question. I've got an Invicta dive watch with a NH35A movement here that whenever I unthread the stem and crown as it is unthreading the date starts changing. Once its unthreaded I can change it to the 1, 2 and 3 positions and set and wind it accordingly. How can I fix this and what is causing this? Yours truly, Josh
