  1. Hi Dan, Thats really helpful. I'm goint to attempt it tonight hopefully. I'll let you know how I get on. Thank you
  2. Hi Dan, Ive got the same mechansim with exactly the same problem. Only in this instance it was me who caused it Did you manage to find the data sheet for it and if so could you point me in the right direction. Regards Johnny
  3. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Digital-Power-Amplifier-100W-Full-Frequency-MONO-No-Power-Supply-Black-heat-sink/123825813116?hash=item1cd497f67c:g:I6EAAOSw1rxdHvd9 Would this work?
  4. Yes I followed the instructions to build the amp and did it exactly the way shown. I like the idea of just buying a mono amp from ebay though. I did think about that but thought maybe the build one had specifics about it that made it more accurate for watch testing. Ill go look through ebay now and see what I can find
  5. Thanks for your help I have downloaded Watch O Scope and even built the amplifyer twice but couldnt get it to work. It may have been something to do with the components. There are various types of capacitors and the instructions didnt really specify them. As I said, I built the amp two times in case I got it wrong the first time, second time using different capacitors but that didnt make any difference. Is there any other way around this without having to build the curcuit?
  6. Hi to all. I'm kind of new to watchmaking. I have been taking evening classing at EFHC for the past year and I'm completely obsessed with watches and the tools to repair them. So far Ive build up a decent array or tools, enough to service the average watch. I will looking to add a lathe and a timegrapher to my collection in the near future. I was wondering, what is the pc timegrapher that Ive seen Mark use? I quite fancy the idea of using my laptop rather than the stand alone units which I know are very good but I'd prefer a bigger screen. Best wishes to you all Johnny
