  1. Just starting to look at some watches collected from seconds shops. I am wondering if anyone can help me locate a place for spares on this watch I have found. I love the look of this watch. It is a Sekonda Quartz, I can see a ref of 664 1B (on the movement), white dial with a moonphase at 12 and a sub seconds dial at 6. I would like to know if there are any places to get the quartz movement or an equivalent and sub dial hand (from centre to edge is 3mm), any tech sheets. Also who in fact supplies Sekonda watches the quartz movements? TIA Mike
  2. I have been given an Ingersoll pocket watch that I am going to see if I can get cleaned and looking good. The biggest problem is that it has no crystal. So I was wondering how to get hold of these. Is it a case of finding a spare repair on Ebay? Also the movement is stamped with 552M, does this mean 1955 Feb. Thank in advance Mike
  3. I have the above watch that has four small cross head screws holding the back of the case on. My question is that these look rather worn so where are places to get these screws and what measurements would be needed? The pic is not the actual watch but is the model. TIA Mike
  4. Just started on my watch journey after digging up some old watches I used to wear, rediscovered and now have an interest in getting them working again so tinkering and who knows where it may lead. So will start with the video course and go from there who knows may leave the world of IT for Horology
