So here it is with the complete donor swap. I decided to wait to swap the dial and hands because I was to tired last night and didn't want to mess it up. Sent from my LG-H910 using Tapatalk

  5. Seiko skxa35 all over the place and stopping

Hey everyone thanks for the replies. I think I'm going to buy a doner and and just swap it out. First I'll try to service the old movement 7s26b before swapping it with the newer c model. Thanks and keep the ideas flowing. Sue there will be more to this! Sent from my LG-H910 using Tapatalk

  8. Seiko skxa35 all over the place and stopping

Pretty sure its part of the train wheel assembly though. Some of my parts didn't match up with hako or marcs videos and I didn't take pictures. Dumb! Sent from my LG-H910 using Tapatalk
  9. Seiko skxa35 all over the place and stopping

So yes I just stripped down an older 7s26 and I'm now putting it back together in horrible fashion. Just kept going without this piece! Sent from my LG-H910 using Tapatalk

Yes that seems logical because the rotor is clean. Adam Sent from my LG-H910 using Tapatalk

Thanks JDM. I was afraid of that, what do you think about the wear pattern on the case back? I knew my options were limited to repair or replace, just was hoping for an easier fix. I guess replace would be the easiest fix. Gonna practice servicing on another 7s26 that I know is working. I think having it serviced would cost around 150 or so. The replacement 7s26 I found is 75 bucks + shipping. Or do the nh36 upgrade. Lot of options now. Ugh. Thanks again Adam Sent from my LG-H910 using Tapatalk
  13. Hi All. My long lost skxa35 has been found and was obviously not wound. I took it to my local guy and he put it on the timegrapher in multiple positions and it was all over the place. I took it home and opened it up for the 1st time and first thing I see is the scratched case back. I wound it up and it kept perfect time face down and up. Next I wound it again and put it on and it stopped dead after about 10 minutes. Do you think the movement is loose in the case and the second hand is touching the crystal? Where should I start? Thanks in Advance Adam Sent from my LG-H910 using Tapatalk
