    • Description: The Horological Journal is believed to be the oldest, continuously published, technical journal in the world with the first edition appearing in September 1858. Since that date it has appeared every month giving a wealth of practical, historical and theoretical information covering all aspects of Horology.

      Established in 1858 to promote horology, the British Horological Institute's prime purpose today is to provide education. Distance Learning Course Students may enter examinations leading to awards accredited by the Government regulatory body, OFQUAL, which reports to Parliament, at Levels 3, 4 and 5.
