  1. Hi all, I am bout to embark on stripping my first watch a raketa. Few questions which I have. How do you know which screw hoes where? Experience? I have purchased a 60 compartment pill organiser, and I intend to put them in order and then remove in order but how do you guys do it. Secondly , does a cheap option exist to clean the internals or is a sonic cleaner the only way to go? And my first lesson learnt, good tools make a difference , the eBay ones are now in the bin and the expensive ones are amazing Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  4. That extra parts sits on the cannon pinion or minute wheel . To hold the hour wheel in place. But as @jdm says the screw next to the battery is missing. And there are a lots of fngerprint on the movement. Strange if a NOS movement would come with a battery for testing. But if the movement is okay. take the screw from the old movement.

  5. I spoke with Federico from Federico Talks Watches on the issue. Was very excited to hear from him. I suspect, based on the conversation, that the watch was refurbished either by Joma or someone else. I do not believe it's a fake, just a poorly refurbished watch. I've sent it back but I'm still waiting to hear from them on the status of my refund... To answer why I came to a watch repair forum to ask the question: it's a watch repair related question. I wanted to know what someone who does this sort of work thought about the situation, and how my watch could have gotten that way.

  6. JD Richard, After doing the machine work the part should be hardened and then tempered. Watch this video, it should answer a lot of your questions. https://youtu.be/mkGygB7BMsQ
