  1. Have you checked the barrel arbor pivot holes in both the main plate and the barrel bridge for wear? Excessive wear in either of these places can cause the arbor to tilt such that the ratchet wheel can contact the barrel bridge on one side. If this is the case then the correct repair would be to re-bush the worn pivot hole, although on something as small as this that may be quite a challenge.

  3. That makes sense. The ones I've seen with that attachment and all the pieces are usually very expensive ($300+). I was watching a K&D 600 today but it went for around $180 with shipping but there is another one ending in a few days. I'm only wanting to spend at most $125 so I'll just look for getting a dedicated jewel tool in the future.
