Picked up my L&R re-furbished machine yesterday. It now cleans without smoke from the motor is wired safely and cleans & drys watch parts a treat.See below before & after pics. Here one of my Omegas that I rarely wear because its old and I don't want to put too much wear on it. It keeps phenomenal time--I mean, really spot on throughout the day. I wore it today in the house just to give it some wrist time, but its raining out and I won't wear it when I step outside later. JC

Welcome to the forum Tony and 10 out of 10 for ingenuity with the tape recorder/watch winder! Regarding the stem problem, I don't know what movement is giving the problem. Don't unscrew them - screw them down and this loosens the movement - then turn the movement in the case until the screws reach the gaps in the case and the movement is free.1 point
