Major mess with chinese 2813 automatic movement

Recommended Posts

Could it be that plate is needed to skip the date on a date wheel that is not fitted in this movement? At the moment the situation is this: pushed crown = manual winding - mid position that plate lever is engaged by that piece inside the clutch and it ticks - pulled crown = set hours + hacking.

I've not worked on one of these movements personally but after a bit of sleuthing on Google your DG2813 is heavily based on a Miyota 8200 movement.

This in turn led me to this page ... https://rwg.cc/topic/187360-disassembly-and-service-of-miyota-8200a-citizen-21j-very-pic-heavy/ which has a large number of quality pictures involving the disassembly, followed by the reassembly, of this type of movement. Crucially there are some good close up pics of the mech around the keyless works that might help.

Thanks, based on a video of the miyota it seems the positions are correct.

Here's one of mine with the second hand fitted: https://youtu.be/DGR5QEbMscs

The top bit in your photo would locate with another bit that allows a date wheel to be quick set,  I will try a nd dig a photo up for you showing the components in situ on a movement.

yes I saw that in a video re miyota
