Steinhart Ocean 1 Green

Just picked up a Steinhart a homage to the Rolex sub...  Was considering buying A Rolex sub rep .. But still trying to get around wearing a faux Rolex ..Just a personal hangup .. A homage is what it is. I am glad I went this route.

Wise choice. I have a 1984 omega seamaster that I love but put together a 300m professional which cost me around £300. I hardly wear it as I know it's not from Omega.

I agree . For me , no replicas and I even have problems with homage ,...although to be honest , I have a Seiko Fifty-Five Fathoms .   

I bought it a while back and didn't really know at the time it was an homage to the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms .

So I'm going to use my " Get out of jail free "card on this one...

If you hadn't said Homage , I would only see a nice Steinhart watch .

I wouldn't loose any sleep over your Seiko. Other than the words "Fifty" and "Fathoms" the watches look completely different.
