Replacing jewels

Hello and greetings. I come to you today with a jeweling question. I need to replace some jewels on a hamilton 912 and this will be my first time replacing a jewel and I seek advice on what type of jewels these are friction fit? and what to use to replace them.

I own a seitz jeweling tool for this specific purpose and have the manual I just want to make sure.

Also should I be pushing it out from dial side or gear side. Trying to get as much info as possible before proceeding and any assistance is highly appreciated. Attached you will find pictures of the jewels in question.

Thank you,

Push the old jewel out  dial side, measure the diameter of the old jewel and the wheel pivot and order from a good suppliers, many on here use this company  https://www.cousinsuk.com/

Yep figured all that out a bit ago thanks.

I think these are rubbed in jewels since they would not stay on after pressing them back in. Can anyone confirm?
