Could anyone give a positive ID of the pictured movement. I think it may be 4009. It's from an Avia Daytyme.

The reason I need to know is, it need a new date ring and some are available from Cousins, but I'm not sure what to order.

Help, please.

If you are sure you have a 4009, then no, the 4002 uses a different date wheel.

According to Jules Borel, the 4006N shares the same date ring http://cgi.julesborel.com/cgi-bin/matcgi2?ref=e[^KYD

Cousins has that in stock.

I offer no warranties on this information... I have always relied on the JB database but recently it let me down on a pallet fork which turned out to have a different arbor from the one I needed
