Be carefull folks, there are a lot of fraudulent emails going around these days.  I just received this one recently.  If it was correct, I wouldn't have been able to pick the box up!

I forwarded it to UPS fraud department immediately.  It will be interesting to se if I get a reply...........I bet I don't!

Micky tried to credit me with drink for helping but I politely refused.  It would have ended up being very very expensive laminate!

I have since found the correct green covering that the smaller watchmakers mats is actually made of, they are sold by a USA retailer, and their link is below in case anyone else is interested.

Finally got round to unpacking the laminate, only to have one sheet fall a part whilst hoovering the white poly bits of packaging used, didn't know this stuff was so fragile

Damn it the second sheet broken up, and shattered like an eggshell whilst cutting out my measurements.

I feel for you Mick.  It's a long time since I worked with the stuff, but brittle Formica was never the easiest laminate to work with.

Finally received the ALVIN covering, not cheap considering the price, the shipping, and then the import duty, total figure for this stuff is almost €600
