i bought these several months ago. both are (still) nonrunners. they were an absolute mess when i got them. the schmutz that i cleaned off of the cases was....well/////gros. i should have taken before and after pictures. here are two pics of them. i apologize for the dust.

yes, it can be a pain to repair them. you definitely need a microloupe (microscope) to see and manipulate some of the smaller parts. but, these watches are somewhat robust and need very little once running perfectly.

Good job ramrod . They look really nice . Did you clean the crystals or replace them ?

they were both replaced. the one on the right was a classic ebay auction. the crystal was so bad that the perfect dial was obscured. i had a feeling that there was a gem hidden in there.
