The watch repair course is now available to the wonderful Patrons who have pledged to support the Watch Repair Channel.
New lessons are being made available every Wednesday to Patrons who have pledged $10 or more per month.

Once the course is fully developed then current Patrons who have pledged over $10 will continue to have access for as long as they maintain their pledge. And Patrons who have pledged $5 will be able to access the course at a discount when it is completed and launched.

  • editing2.jpgMy aim is simple, to create quality videos on watch repair techniques using high definition macro photography. And with this in mind, I created the Watch Repair Channel on YouTube.

You can learn watch repair principles and techniques, both advanced and basic, at your leisure through the power of the Internet.

And to add additional value to the videos, I have created an online forum to allow watch repairers and enthusiasts to discuss watch repairs, techniques and the industry in general - it's a great place to hang out and learn from others, and even offer on your knowledge. At the Watch Repair Talk website you will find all manner of discussions and Watch Repair Walkthrough's and stories submitted by other members.

I have been a watch repairer for many years, but recently I have felt a strong urge to pass on the knowledge and experience I have gained over the years.

As mentioned, my YouTube videos are free to watch and use, and I will always keep it that way.

But if you do enjoy my video creations or would simply want to sponsor this community, and you have the means, it would be most appreciated if you would kindly pledge a small amount per month. This will allow me to dedicate more time to creating the tutorials, rely less on ad revenue, and it will help cover the costs of producing the content.

You can change your pledge or cancel it ant any time.

I am absolutely passionate about keeping my YouTube videos free to view. And it is important for me see people progressing with their skills and techniques in watch repair. I believe the Watch Repair Channel is a unique service, and I am very excited to see where it takes me as a watch repairer and teacher. But I am equally excited to inspire people, wether young or not so young, to develop and progress in this field, as a hobby or as a career.

So how can you help me?

I would like to dedicate more time to teaching through the Watch Repair Channel. Producing these videos on a weekly basis is the goal; and to serialise the content to provide a structured learning environment for people wanting to develop their watch repair knowledge.

Each video takes many hours of work. From deciding on the content to shooting the footage, editing and publishing - it really is quite involved. There is the maintenance of the website and financing the hosting costs. And whilst I do have ad revenue via Google's Adsense, it does not begin to cover the full cost.

With all this in mind, I am asking for your support, but only if you have gained enjoyment and knowledge from my content and teaching. And only if you have the means to do so.

Already I know that the videos I have produced, have inspired some people to take up watch repair as a career, and that gives me an amazing feeling.

Thank you for your interest, and whatever you decide, I do hope you continue to enjoy my free videos on YouTube which will always remain free :) but as a Patron of WRT, you will also be provided with additional content and early access to the YouTube videos.
